My totara tree means

My Totara tree means:

This is my Totara tree. At the top it says PRIDE that means P for Personal best, R for Respect and Responsibility, I for Integrity, D for Determination and E for Enjoyment. Next you would see the New Zealand flag means our country and then the three koru means the three classes which is the three hub working together. lastly you would see the parkvale ladder which means juniors climbing the ladder to be a senior. On the other side there are some koru’s  and three ropes which means binding together our three classes. That is what my totara tree means.

Top house competition

On the 21st of February it was a sunny Friday   afternoon the year 5 and 6 sprinted out to the field and sat down on the netball courts in their house colours. The teachers explained what were doing. Then everyone dashed to their activities, after we had finished the first activity the groups skipped to the next and then to the next until the groups had finished all of the activities. When all of the groups had finished we walked back to our classes and packed up.

  

My favorite game was the 2 legged race and the Jats game, which is throwing a spiked ball in a bucket. The most challenging game for me was the Lilly pad hurdles because the groups couldn't touch the ground and we had to get to the other side. I helped little kids and show pride at the same time. I wish we could that again some other day.

Hi my name is Harsimar in my family there is my mum called Sukhwinder, dad called Satnam, an older brother called Prabhi, an older sister called Hena and a dog called wolfy. We all are vegetarian except for the dog. My favourite sport is playing netball, my favourite subject is writing and art, my favorite thing to do is singing and listening to music, I like dogs and cats so does my brother and sister and dad but not my mum.

My Shoe Description

Introduction:

My shoe is as red as blood. The laces of my shoe are white. My shoes tongue is red it has stitched line going around on the edge, the label of my shoe is called garage, it has white stitches at the back of it’s shoe and at the front. On the side of my shoe it has red and white stripes. It looks like waves.

My laces:

My laces and the tips are white and flat.They are criss crossed through these white buttons the laces are long. mostly the laces are knotted.

The bottom of the shoe:

The bottom of my shoe is like it’s spiked waves but in the middle it is plain. The front is nearly fading away.

Describing the shoe:

My shoe looks red as blood. It’s label of the shoe is garage. The size of my shoe is number 6, there is stitched sides and edges on my shoe like at the back and at the front and at the edge of the tongue.

The sides:

The sides have red and white stripes. The red pattern is skinny and is at the top and the white is big and at the bottom and the front of the shoe is kind of popping out.

My Dream Netball Team

This is Irene Van Dyke

Irene van dyk, she was born in 1972. She is 41 years old and she is one of the world’s best - known netball players and the most capped international players of all time. She formerly captained South African national team. Irene’s favourite position is GS { Goal Shoot } and GA { Goal Attack and she plays for the same team in the ANZ championship which replaced the National Bank Cup in 2008.

This is Adine Wilson

Adine Wilson, she was born in 1979. She is 34 years old and has  captained the Silver Ferns netball team from 2005 to 2007. Adine returned to the game in 2009 and then she captained the Southern Steel, she started playing for the Silver Ferns netball team in 1999 at 20 years of age and then became the team’s captain in March 2005.

This is Casey Williams

Casey Williams, she was born in 1985. She is 28 years old and the current captain of the New Zealand national netball team the silver ferns. Her favourite position is GK and GS. She has been a member of the New Zealand national netball team since 2004, She also played in the New Zealand U21 netball team that won gold at the 2005 World Youth Netball. In july 2009, Casey became the 23rd captain of the Silver Ferns.

This is Laura Geitz

Laura Geitz, she was born in 1987. She is 26 years old and she led the Australian team for the first time, winning the Constellation Cup against New Zealand. Geitz won the honour of the Liz Ellis Diamonds Award in 2011 and has earned herself 32 Test Caps for Australia. Geitz was part of the Diamonds squad for the 2011 Netball World Championship in Singapore.

This is Tracey Neville

Tracey Neville, she was born in 1977. She is 37 years old and has represented her country since 1993 and has competed for England  in the 1998 and 2002 Commonwealth Games. Then a serious knee injury forced her to retire from the game in 2008.

This is Bianca Giteau

Bianca Giteau, she was born in 1984. She is 30 years old and played with the Australian U21 netball team from 2004 to 2005. In the ANZ championship she played for the West Coast Fever from 2008 to 2010.

This is Laura Langman

Laura Langman, She was born in 1986. Laura is 27 years old and is in the Silver Ferns Netball Team. She made her international test played in 2005, She was also selected for the Silver Ferns team that won a gold medal at the 2006  Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Langman is the vice-captain of the New Zealand national netball team – the Silver Ferns, she won a gold metal with the silver ferns at the 2009 World Netball Series in Manchester.
