My Dream Netball Team




This is Irene Van Dyke

Irene van dyk, she was born in 1972. She is 41 years old and she is one of the world’s best - known netball players and the most capped international players of all time. She formerly captained South African national team. Irene’s favourite position is GS { Goal Shoot } and GA { Goal Attack and she plays for the same team in the ANZ championship which replaced the National Bank Cup in 2008.

This is Adine Wilson

Adine Wilson, she was born in 1979. She is 34 years old and has  captained the Silver Ferns netball team from 2005 to 2007. Adine returned to the game in 2009 and then she captained the Southern Steel, she started playing for the Silver Ferns netball team in 1999 at 20 years of age and then became the team’s captain in March 2005.



This is Casey Williams

Casey Williams, she was born in 1985. She is 28 years old and the current captain of the New Zealand national netball team the silver ferns. Her favourite position is GK and GS. She has been a member of the New Zealand national netball team since 2004, She also played in the New Zealand U21 netball team that won gold at the 2005 World Youth Netball. In july 2009, Casey became the 23rd captain of the Silver Ferns.





This is Laura Geitz

Laura Geitz, she was born in 1987. She is 26 years old and she led the Australian team for the first time, winning the Constellation Cup against New Zealand. Geitz won the honour of the Liz Ellis Diamonds Award in 2011 and has earned herself 32 Test Caps for Australia. Geitz was part of the Diamonds squad for the 2011 Netball World Championship in Singapore.










This is Tracey Neville

Tracey Neville, she was born in 1977. She is 37 years old and has represented her country since 1993 and has competed for England  in the 1998 and 2002 Commonwealth Games. Then a serious knee injury forced her to retire from the game in 2008.



This is Bianca Giteau

Bianca Giteau, she was born in 1984. She is 30 years old and played with the Australian U21 netball team from 2004 to 2005. In the ANZ championship she played for the West Coast Fever from 2008 to 2010.






This is Laura Langman



Laura Langman, She was born in 1986. Laura is 27 years old and is in the Silver Ferns Netball Team. She made her international test played in 2005, She was also selected for the Silver Ferns team that won a gold medal at the 2006  Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Langman is the vice-captain of the New Zealand national netball teamthe Silver Ferns, she won a gold metal with the silver ferns at the 2009 World Netball Series in Manchester.
